Travel:
In the Navy visited Cuba and other points south, happened to be during the Missile crisis and during the Vietnam conflict. Sailed around South America stopping in Venezuela, Brazil, Trinidad, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Panama.
Made a Northern Europe cruise stopping in England, Ireland, France, Scotland, Norway and Holland.
As a civilian have traveled to Paris, Rome, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and many of the Continental States.
Play Activities:
Soft ball - for several years.
Jogging - ran in Marathons, several across the Causeway.
Presently have a Open Water Scuba Certification diving when I can.
1993 biography
July '62 - March '66 US Navy - stationed in California and Rhode Island. Cruised South America and the North European Countries. Married Linda Allen (Mary's sister) August '67. Worked for Shell Norco for 7 months then moved to Lafayette Jan '69. Worked for South Central Bell Jan '69 - Nov '84. In '84 I was an agent and investor for New York Life Insurance Co. for 3 years. 1987 to present managing Downhole Rental; a company I purchased in '81. Today my wife is in a masters program at USL - Oldest son is in the Navy aboard a nuclear carrier in California - Oldest daughter is married and living in Denver, CO - Second daughter attends USL and is to be married in Nov '93. My other two sons are in high school; one's a sophomore and the other is a junior.
