Linda Vitrano LeDoux
Thinking back of my years since high school has
really been a long time. I am married for 48 years now. Have three
beautiful daughters and great son-in-laws and seven grandchildren. Four
girls and three boys. They range in age from 20 to ll years old.
They all keep us pretty busy. I recently retired on April 11, 2011.
It took me a while at first to adjust but now keep quite busy. I joined
two great ladies groups and a book club group. Leonard and I still do
quite a bit of traveling and spend a lot more time now at our condo in Navarre
Beach, Fla. Sometimes I go with a group of ladies out of the country which
I truly love. Leonard is not interested in going out of the country.
He did go a couple of times, but not anymore. So I do what I can with the
other ladies. I just don't know where the 50 years have gone. Way to
fast. I have been bless with my health. I did have a freaky accident
recently. A girls softball found my nose and it was shattered. I had
surgery, but am getting along good now. I need to be careful until the
middle of August. It should be healed by then. Looking foward to
seeing everyone at the class reunion.
2002 Biography
Leonard and I were married on February 8, 1964. I worked for 2 ½ years at National Gypsum in Good Hope. Then babies started coming into our lives. We have three daughters. Michele, married Cory Zeringue. They have three children; Payton-10, Paxton Claire-5, Pylar- 1 ½
Monica, married Johnny Brechtel. They have two boys; Jacques-4, Jules-17 mo. Melissa, married Dane Wise. They have two girls; Gracie-3, Maggie-20 mo.
Once all the girls were in school, I decided to go back to work. Started looking and found a job in St. Rose. It was a family business and it worked out just great. I have been working for them for 25 ½ years and still like going to work everyday.
Leonard and I bought into some areas of the business, so it seems like I am working for myself, which is great.
We try to get away as often as possible, by going on trips all over the United States and Canada. We also have a Condo in Navarre Beach, Fla., so we are th
ere in between our other travels. We both enjoy Going! Going! Going!
1993 biography
Leonard and I were married in 1964. I've been working since 1976, after my youngest started school. Only to work a few years. Well, it is now 16 1/2 years. Still working. Now, I say, "Why quit?" Retirement seems near. We keep very busy. Traveling, working and the most fun is with our grandson. That's the best part of being a parent, becoming a grandparent. I love being a meme (mere).
