1) Worked at GATX Tank Terminal from 1962 to 1964.
2) Was drafted into the Army in July of 1964. Served a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966 with the 25th Inf. Division where I received the purple heart from a leg injury.
3) Got married on 10-22-66 to Margaret Millet - we have one son Brian, born 12-7-67. He is now married and also has one son, Dillan born 3-16-94.
4) Went to work for Shell Oil Co. in 1967. Left Shell in 1976 and went to work for Marathon Oil Co. where a new ground root refinery was being built in Garyville LA. Worked at Marathon as a operation's supervisor until 1985 and then became the senior construction supervisor for the refinery until I retired on Dec. 3, 2000 after twenty-five years of service.
5) I am now retired living in LaPlace, LA out on Old Hwy. 51 area where I enjoy traveling, woodworking and old cars. Yes, those who remember me, know I always like cars and dancing. Some 8 years ago I purchased a 1955 Chevy (2 door) Bel-Air hard top - red outside - with red & beige interior. I have it modified with a bigger engine - 4 speed transmission - chrome rims and more. This car is built for show, we drive it to car show's and sometime I drive for weddings.
